Throughout each academic year students are occupied with eitherexams or technical events, workshops or seminars. Occasionally what they need is a break from this routine and this is what Taarangana (earlier known as RÖNESANS) is all about. The cultural society with Dr. Shalini Arora as the Faculty Advisor aims at providing the students with a platform to develop and showcase their cultural talents.
One of the prominent events held by Taarangana is the Cultural evening, which is held annually. Following the upgradation of IGIT to IGDTUW, the idea of Taarangana’14 was born and as a result the intra college Cultural Evening snowballed into the first extravagant cultural fest of the University- TAARANGANA’14 powered by Brij Events was held on 31st January and 1st February. It was a cynosure of sheer talent and creativity. Attended by students from over 70 colleges- IITD, NSIT, Lady Hardinge, Hansraj, Miranda House and Institue of Home Economics to name a few- the fest witnessed enthusiastic participation and spectatorship. Featuring a myriad array of performances, events, fun games and stalls, ithad something for everyone.
