Prof. Dr. Rashmi Ashtt is Head of Department of Architecture & Planning in IGDTUW. An Architect & Urban Planner from SPA Delhi having twenty two years of experience in Architecture and Urban planning. An expert in the Industry/ Academics/ Administration. She holds a Ph.D. in Planning and has built her professional qualifications further through several cutting edge National and International certification courses like ‘Leadership and change management’ with ‘Indian Institute of Management , Ahmadabad’. Her industry experience includes senior positions with renowned organizations and worked upon various City Development Plans. Her significant research has been published in various National and International journals worldwide. Held position of as Director of Hindu College of Design Architecture and planning, sonepat and SPSAD ,Rohtak previously. Has also been conferred upon many awards including "Proud to be an Indian Woman Award" by Saanwari Women Power Club, which was presented to her by MLA and Parliament Secretary, Delhi. Member of IASTE, University of Berkley, California. She has organized and has been invited to various prestigious National and International conferences as technical chair. ie. University of Toronto Canada, University of Coimbara, Portugal. Has done various government projects related to GIS ,Heritage and water conservation with AICTE, MOUHA ,ASI ,INTACH ESRI etc.
