Bio-Sketch: Dr. Seeja K.R. is Professor in Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Delhi. She did PhD in Computer Science on the topic “ Data Mining for DNA Data Analysis” in 2010 from Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi, M.E. (Computer Science and Enginering) degree in 2003 from Madurai Kamaraj University, Tamilnadu and B.E. (Computer Engineering) degree in 1995 from M.S.University, Thirunelveli. She had a teaching experience of more than 25 years in various Engineering colleges and Universities in Kerala and Delhi. Her research interests include Machine Learning, Algorithm Design, Biometrics and Health Informatics. She has published more than 50 research papers in various international journals and conference proceedings. She was the Principal Investigator of a major project titled “Solving Travelling Salesman with Sparse Graphs” funded by University Grants Commission. She is a life member of CSI and ISTE. She received best paper award for the paper titled “A novel Feature Selection Technique for SAGE Data Classification” presented in International Conference on Intelligent Computing 2013 held at Nanning, China during July 28-31,2013. She also received the 11th Innovative Education Leadership award for “Best Professor in Computer Science & Engineering” organized by DNA and Stars of the Industry on 16th February 2019 at Mumbai.
